The vineyards, cultivated by the Clasen family since the 19th century, extend over an area of 18 hectares (44.5 acres).
One of the first growers to favour low yields, selective harvesting and integrated farming ("culture raisonnée"), the Domaine "Clos des Rochers" cultivates more than 35 different plots of vineyards over a large range of terroirs between Grevenmacher and Wormeldange.
In Grevenmacher, the slowly eroding clay soils of “Fels” produce elegant, crisp wines with a beautiful minerality.
2009 is a very ripe and powerful vintage and has produced an elegant wine with a remarkable finesse.
The perfect partner for white meat, fish, light cheese and, why not, asparagus !
Serve at 8-10°C (46° to 50°F)
